Marina, 43 years old, studied design in England. She returned to Brussels to work as a designer and moved to 314 Chaussée de Forest in 2011. In 2013, she showcased her creations in her design studio: Bautier. And in 2021, she added a café, Café Bautier.

Whether in the design of the place, the objects and furniture or the Café, Marina chooses what she likes and quality always takes precedence over quantity. All her furniture is made of quality and durable materials. In the Café, the products are local, organic and the food is home-made. Two types of focaccia sandwiches and a daily special are served, depending on the season.

It will soon be possible to stay there. Marina is building a studio and a rooftop apartment, with the goal of focusing on mid-term stays.

Today, Bautier is a simple and welcoming space that offers a café, furniture and objects, and a display of design, architecture and cooking books. All created, imagined and curated by the designer Marina Bautier.
