Today, we present the project of two friends who met during their translation studies. But now, nothing to do with it: one is a cheesemaker (and zythologist) and the other is in the events business. About 4 months ago, they officially launched @plaisir.beer (Plaisir de Fermenter) and their first beer, La Classe Américaine, a JIPA (a passion fruit IPA). Plaisir beer is a project based on sharing. Their idea is not to take the lead and to make a beer for friends. To be with friends and taste beers for fun, to organise tasting evenings, pairings, friendly activities with the idea of experimenting. They make beers that are different from what is available on the traditional market and they also work on other types of fermentation: innovative ciders, non-alcoholic drinks, kombucha etc.
